"AT YOUR PLACE"

If you prefer to have our trainers work with you and your dog at your own home on a regular basis, Possum Hollow offers a premium service which allows you to remain at home and still have the training services that your dog would receive at the Doggy Day School.

Your trainer will come to your home on a scheduled basis for a one-hour session.
Schedules may be flexible or pre-arranged.

Programs and Fees

HS1DW Home Schooling at your house one day each week. $230/month
HS2DW Home Schooling at your house twice each week. $490/month
HS3DW Home Schooling at your house three times each week. $740/month

 

Please do not ask your trainer to provide home schooling or home visits outside of the Possum Hollow network.  Our trainers sign a non-compete clause when hired and can not provide training services outside of the Possum Hollow network.   Requesting outside services is asking them to be dishonest and break their contract.  Our trainers are honest people and are unfairly pressured when asked to work alone.  Thank you.



 

"Occasionally at your place."

Home Visits are available to dogs enrolled in one of our regular programs.

If your dog needs a home visit to complement his/her training at Day School, your Day School trainer will come to your house for a one-hour lesson by appointment.  This service is often useful for specific behavior problems that only occur at your home.

Home Visit Fee:  $70/visit

 

We provide a variety of classes through our local community college.  These classes are designed to offer fun and informative learning opportunities for the public.  Below is a link to the Continuing Education Department at Isothermal Community College in Spindale NC.  Registration and fees are controlled by ICC.  To sign up for a class go to

Some of the classes we offer include:

Group Obedience Classes:  These classes are offered once or twice a year and are introductions to pet obedience training.  They are a good way to get to know us before you enroll your dog in a regular Day School program.

Dog Whispering:  This class is offered once or twice a year and is a lecture class with lots of slides and fun as you learn how to communicate with your dog.  Learn what your dog is saying to you.  This class is highly recommended for all owners of dogs in our regular training programs.
